Ok these were pretty amazing. Just make them and see for yourself. Thats all I need to say
Ingredients:
- 1 packet of ground beef (1.5-2lbs)
- 1.5 tbsp of goat cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/5 cup chopped fresh scallions
- salt to taste (~1/2 tsp)
- pepper to taste
- 3 tsp of minced garlic
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp parsley (dry spice)
- 1/2 cup Hoisin sauce marinade
- 3 tbsp of olive oil
- 3 tbsp of flour
Instructions
- In a medium bowl combine eggs, ground beef, cilantro, scallions, salt, pepper, garlic, garlic powder, parsley, hoisin sauce marinade, olive oil and mix together
- Let the bowl stand for about 30 minutes at room temperature (or leave overnight in the fridge)
- Spray pan with PAM or use small amount of olive oil to grease the bottom of the pan. Heat on high heat
- Using your hands take small amounts of ground beef mixture and roll into about 1.5-2in balls
- Make a small hole in each meatball and place about a 1cm piece of goat cheese inside, cover the cheese with ground beef making a nice round meatball with cheese inside
- Roll each meatball in small amount of flour to help it keep its form
- Place each meatball on pan about 1 inch apart, cover the pan and turn heat to medium low. In about 2 min flip the meatballs over and cover again. Cook until there is no pink meat in the center (~about 15 minutes).
- You can also bake them instead at 350 degrees for about 20-25 min
- Serve with side of your choosing and enjoy!
